Fossil carbon for living soil

We specialise in the methodology of activating and enriching humic substances. We do not sell ground rock — we supply a soil conditioner whose active content is known and documented.

Regulatory status: CE marking is being implemented — the conformity assessment under Regulation (EU) 2019/1009 is in progress. The figures given here are the specification the product is set to; what is binding for a given delivery is the certificate of analysis for that batch.

Why the methodology decides, not the raw material

Leonardite is a fossil rock. Humic acid content differs by an order of magnitude between the world's deposits, and processing cannot close that gap. What can be influenced is the share of humic acids in an accessible form and the composition of the mixture that reaches the soil. That is our field.

Activation

In fossil rock, humic acids are largely bound and insoluble in water. Activation raises the share of free humic acids in a controlled way — without chemically modifying the molecule itself.

Enrichment

Functional components are added to the activated base according to what the soil actually needs — pH correction, structure, availability of trace elements. The recipe follows a soil analysis, not a catalogue.

Verification

Active content is determined by a standardised method and a certificate is issued for every production batch. The buyer may have any batch checked by a laboratory of their own choosing.

The active ingredient cannot be seen

Which is why it is not bought by colour or by the bag. It is bought by a number somebody measured and signed — and by how much of it reaches the root zone.

What the grower gets out of it

Comparable figures

Price per kilogram of product says nothing. What decides is the price per kilogram of humic acids and the rate required per hectare. We provide both figures in writing, so they can be set against any other product on the market.

Rate based on the soil

The application rate follows a soil analysis — organic carbon content, pH, sorption capacity and contaminant levels. On soils low in organic carbon the rate is split into two applications.

Measurement instead of guesswork

The product comes with HUMEUS Probe — an electronic system for verifying soil condition, including continuous moisture monitoring. It keeps analyses, applications and batches in one place and derives next season's rate from the measured trend. A humic conditioner acts over years — without measurement its use cannot be optimised.
