We cooperate with the Institute of Advanced Studies (Inštitút pokročilých štúdií, o. z. — IOAS), a Slovak non-profit association, on the scientific part of the activation and enrichment methodology. The cooperation covers three areas:
Review of the literature
Systematic review of published work on humic substances — what is demonstrated, how strongly, and where the evidence gaps are. The result determines what we may claim about the product and what we may not.
Trial design and evaluation
Pot and field trials, including leaching tests, are designed with a control group and a measurable output. Without that, a result is an observation, not evidence.
Data evaluation
Processing of laboratory and field data, statistical evaluation, and preparation of documentation for both scientific and regulatory purposes.
Why we work this way
In this product category it is common to work with results that have no control group, with data from one-off observations, and with claims taken over from other manufacturers' marketing. Figures obtained that way do not survive the first expert question, and they discredit what is genuinely good about the product.
So we claim only what we can document — and where we cannot, we would rather say nothing.
For research institutions
If you are preparing a trial in which a humic preparation would be relevant, we can supply material with a known and documented specification, including the certificate of active content. Material of unknown content is unusable in a trial — the result cannot be reproduced.
Do you have a subject for cooperation?
We are particularly interested in land reclamation, leaching of contaminants into groundwater, and soils low in organic carbon.
